Replicating (design)

Do I have to physically bring in the object or part I want replicated?

No, in certain cases where the physical option cannot be brought in, we can send one of our representatives over to take measurements and photos, or we can request specific types and angles at which measurements and photos should be taken.

How long does the process take?

It all really depends on the complexity and size of the object, it can range from 3 days to 3 weeks.

Can I ship the part I want to replicate?

Yes, of course. Just contact us before you ship it, and make sure to package it in protective way so that it isn’t damaged on the way here!

Can I have the design file after the modeling is done?

Yes, of course. Just ask the staff member who is completing your order and they will send the file wherever you’d like!

Printing from files

What is the largest file I can send?

We can take files up to 1 terabyte, just complete the order form on our website!

What format should I use when sending the file?

We accept all kinds of 3d files and svgs/vectors, just upload whatever you have and if we can’t accept it in a rare case we will contact you and propose an appropriate solution.

Where can I send the file?

Just upload the file to the order form, or call us by phone to do a more guided order where we can instruct you on how to send the files to us using the easiest method for you.

Can I send the link to a model online?

Yes! Just skip the upload part of the form and add it into the link section of the order form, or if you are ordering manually just let the representative know.

prototyping / Idea to Product

What types of things can I prototype?

You can prototype anything along as the base of it can work with plastic, carbon fibre, ABS, Polycarbonate etc., if you aren’t sure, feel free to give us a call and we can tell you if your idea is something we can do, and if not we can provide some alternatives for you to still be able to create your prototype or product.

What if I’m not sure of the specifics of my imagined product?

Not to worry, one of our staff members will help to guide you through the printability of the design as well as any other things you need help with to bring your idea to reality.

How can I monitor the progress of my order?

All of our prototyping packages include weekly progress reports that include the work that has been done during the given week as well as any challenges and next steps. We also do weekly consultations in which we can answer and questions and discuss specifics about your order. Our premium prototyping packages offer a custom website page at which you can view the printing happening, the progress of your order and so much more.

We offer a wide variety of plastics ranging from weak to durable, as well as carbon fiber and nylon infused materials for orders that need extra durability, we also offer a material called TPU, which has rubber like properties.
